This role involves working on exciting new projects across Northern Ireland. Your role
The Civil Engineering Technician will provide technical support to engineers on construction projects. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and 3D design packages such as PDS, Microdrainage, and Civil 3D. Responsibilities include preparing road and drainage design packages and general arrangements drawings for civil engineering projects, as well as assisting with topographical surveys on sites as required to aid the design phases.
To qualify, you must have a minimum of HNC / HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) with experience in civil and structural engineering. Candidates without HNC/HND qualifications may still apply if they have at least 5 years’ experience in Civil or Structural Engineering company. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS, and Microdrainage is required. Good oral and written communication skills, teamwork, organizational skills, and problem-solving initiative are essential. This role is suitable for someone passionate about civil engineering with experience in relevant software packages.
