Job summary

Transport for London (TfL) offers a 12-month Engineering & Technology Year-in-Industry placement based in London, with hybrid working. You will undertake three four-month placements across Electrical, Technology, and Sustainability streams, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class transport network.

Applicants should be in the penultimate year of their degree and on track for at least a 2:2 in an IET-accredited engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• Must be in your penultimate year of your degree.
• On track to achieve a minimum of 2:2 in electrical, electronic, systems or mechatronic engineering (IET accredited).

Responsibilities

• Complete three four-month placements in different engineering teams.
• Work on live projects to gain broad grounding in engineering and business delivery.
• Collaborate with specialist engineers across the lifecycle of diverse systems.
• Prepare for potential graduate opportunities through TfL's fast-track process.
