Job summary

MTR Partnership in Wakefield is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their civil engineering team. You will manage the commercial delivery from procurement through to final account on infrastructure projects across Yorkshire.

The role focuses on valuations, cost reports, subcontract procurement and cost control, with NEC contracts knowledge advantageous and strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial processes.
• Experience managing valuations, variations, subcontract accounts and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of civil engineering projects from procurement to final account.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports, forecasts and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments and variations.
• Provide commercial support and cost control to project teams.
• Collaborate with clients and supply chain partners to maximise project performance.
• Ensure effective contract administration and compliance.
