Job summary

David Leslie Ltd in Winchester is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a civil engineering background to lead defence and government-focused civil projects. You will coordinate civil works with M&E installations, manage budgets and teams, and drive safe, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven responsibility for civil engineering projects.
• Understanding interfaces between civil works and M&E installations.
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, subcontractors and project teams.
• Strong client communication, commercial judgement and problem-solving skills.
• A project management qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• A full driving licence and willingness to travel and work away.

Responsibilities

• Planning programmes, labour, subcontractors, materials and procurement.
• Coordinating civil engineering and construction works alongside M&E installations.
• Leading project teams and maintaining effective client and subcontractor relationships.
• Controlling budgets, monitoring costs and managing variations.
• Managing health and safety arrangements, RAMS, site inspections and quality.
• Reporting progress, resolving delivery issues and overseeing completion documentation.
