Job summary

VolkerWessels UK Ltd. is offering a 40-week industry placement for a 2nd year Civil Engineering student, starting in September 2027 and running through to July 2028. The role focuses on on-site learning with a main contractor, and requires a valid driving licence with access to a vehicle.

Lodging away from home may be necessary with a subsistence policy in place. Those showing progress may be considered for employment post-graduation via our graduate scheme.

Qualifications

• 2nd year Civil Engineering student seeking a placement from 2027/28.
• Placement runs from September 2027 to July 2028.
• On-site work experience with a main contractor.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willing to lodge away from home during the working week with subsistence policy.

Responsibilities
