Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited is recruiting for a Civil Engineering Apprentice under the Thames Water Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. The role covers planning, design, construction, and maintenance of civil projects with site visits, training commitments, and a rotational programme.

You will join a 36-month apprenticeship with a 4-month End Point Assessment, enrolled on Level 3 Civil Engineering, with a mix of office work and field site experience in England.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or above (or Functional Skills Level 2).
• Willingness to undertake Level 3 Civil Engineering course.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify engineering diagrams, documents, and specifications following industry standards.
• Collect and analyse technical data and use CAD/BIM/REVIT to develop solutions.
• Prioritise safety by following health and safety guidelines and mitigating risks.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and environmental/sustainability measures.
• Manage project quality, budget and targets using available systems; maintain data security.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, customers and stakeholders.
• Work independently and in teams; take responsibility for tasks.
