A leading organization is seeking a Civil Engineer to support Water Non-Infrastructure projects. The role involves developing civil designs, collaborating with teams, and promoting health and safety in design. Who are we?
Within Alliance, we are a collaborative organization comprising eight partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO) and our extended supply chain. We deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment program.
We are preparing for our most ambitious Asset Management Period yet, AMP8, which involves delivering a larger and more diverse portfolio of projects, including nature-based solutions like wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

As part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to support the delivery of Water Non-Infrastructure (WNI) projects.
What will you be doing as our new Civil Engineer in WNI?
You will develop civil designs that align with our capital investment goals and deliver value. Reporting to the project Technical Manager, you will work on Water Non-Infrastructure projects related to potable water assets within water treatment works or storage sites.

Skills, experience, and behaviors:
You should hold a BEng or MEng/MSc Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, ideally working towards Chartered Engineer status. You should have experience with structural calculations for concrete structures, civil engineering design within the Water industry, and proficiency with relevant design software. Familiarity with British Standards and Eurocodes, and the ability to interpret ground investigation reports, are essential.
You must be capable of effective communication with diverse stakeholders, possess strong report writing and data analysis skills, and be enthusiastic about improving ways of working.
