WSP in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Team. You will support planning, design, permitting, and construction of solar, storage, and other renewable projects across New England and beyond.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 4–6 years of experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure with strong attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage and permitting.
• Working knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes and practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• PE license and HydroCAD/ArcGIS experience are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design site layouts, grading plans and construction drawings using Civil 3D.
• Design stormwater management systems and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Support civil, water resources and environmental design for renewable energy projects.
• Conduct site investigations, field assessments and analyses.
• Assist with permitting strategies, regulatory coordination and environmental compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects.
