Job summary

Strata Consulting in Leeds is seeking a Civil Engineer to support a growing portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector projects. You will work with senior engineers to produce practical, cost-effective civil designs across all project stages.

Key requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, experience in a consultancy, familiarity with Civil 3D or MicroDrainage, and good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering designs, including highways, drainage, levels, and external works.
• Produce detailed calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
• Work with colleagues to deliver coordinated designs across disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Assist in the management of projects from feasibility through to construction.
• Contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

With continued growth in their Leeds office, were looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join their expanding team and contribute to a wide portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector developments.

Role

As a Civil Engineer, you will support the delivery of civil engineering design packages across all stages of a project. Youll work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to produce practical, cost-effective engineering solutions that meet the highest technical and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil engineering designs, including highways, drainage, levels, and external works.
• Produce detailed calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
• Work with colleagues to deliver coordinated designs across disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.

About you

Essential:
