Job summary

Strata Consulting in Reading seeks a skilled Civil Engineer to join a well-known housing developer on a full-time basis. You’ll contribute to the design and delivery of developments, working across multiple stages of the technical design process with the in-house design team.

Qualifications

• A Civil Engineering degree is desirable or equivalent experience.
• Experience as an engineer, with a consultancy background or in-house design for a housebuilder.
• MICE chartered or Incorporated preferred; studies supported.
• Experience designing infrastructure, foundations, highways, drainage and external works in housing developments.
• Strong IT skills with AutoCAD, PDS, FLOW or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of housing developments.
• Work across multiple stages of the technical design process with the in-house design team.
• Prepare detailed infrastructure designs for roads, drainage and external works.
