Job summary

RGB Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a respected engineering consultancy to recruit a Civil Engineer for their Northampton team. You will join a practice delivering diverse projects across highways, drainage and infrastructure from concept through to delivery.

Working with senior engineers and technicians, you will produce calculations, drawings and reports, liaise with clients and contractors, and help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and detailed design of civil engineering schemes, including highways, drainage, earthworks and infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation per current standards and best practice.
• Produce high-quality drawings and models using industry-standard software.
• Support the technical delivery of projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve technical challenges.
• Undertake site visits, surveys and inspections to gather information and monitor progress.

Civil Engineer

Northampton

We are working with a respected engineering consultancy looking to grow their Civils team out of their Poole office.

Their varied project portfolio includes multi-story residential developments, new housing schemes, schools, commercial developments, and infrastructure projects ranging from small-scale works to multi-million-pound schemes.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Civil Engineer to join their team.

The Role

Working alongside Senior Engineers, Engineers and Technicians, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to varied projects while developing your technical and professional skills within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and detailed design of civil engineering schemes, including highways, drainage, earthworks and associated infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports and design documentation in accordance with current standards and best practice.
• Produce high-quality engineering drawings and models using industry-standard software.
• Support the technical delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the design process.
