Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd. seeks an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer to join a major UK design campaign for water and wastewater projects.

The role supports both civil and structural disciplines with exposure to a varied programme across multiple sites and offices. Responsibilities include delivering designs, developing engineering solutions, producing calculations and drawings, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Strong civil and/or structural engineering experience.
• Qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Good understanding of design principles in civil or structural domains.
• Experience delivering technically complex engineering designs.
• Ability to produce and review calculations and technical information.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil or structural design across water and wastewater projects.
• Develop engineering solutions throughout the design lifecycle.
• Produce technical calculations, drawings and design documentation.
• Review technical information and resolve engineering issues.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, process and wider disciplines.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Support projects through design development and technical delivery.
• Work closely with engineering and project teams across the UK.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil or Structural Engineer to join a major UK design campaign supporting the delivery of infrastructure and non-infrastructure water projects.

The business is strengthening both its civil and structural capability, meaning engineers from either discipline will be considered.

With offices across Manchester, London, Bristol, Exeter, Derby, Peterborough, Glasgow and Northern Ireland, the position provides flexibility alongside exposure to a varied programme of water and wastewater treatment work.

The Role

• Delivering civil or structural design across water and wastewater projects
• Developing engineering solutions throughout the design lifecycle
• Producing technical calculations, drawings and design documentation
• Reviewing technical information and resolving engineering issues
• Coordinating with mechanical, electrical, process and wider disciplines
• Contributing to multidisciplinary design reviews
• Supporting projects through design development and technical delivery
• Working closely with engineering and project teams across the UK

What They're Looking For

• Strong Civil and/or Structural Engineering experience
• Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering qualification
• Good understanding of civil or structural design principles
• Experience delivering technically complex engineering designs
• Ability to produce and review calculations and technical information
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills
• Good technical problem-solving and communication capabilitiesPrevious experience across water, wastewater, treatment works or wider process infrastructure would be highly beneficial.
