About the Role:

ARM is looking for a talented Civil Engineer/Technician to join an experienced team of engineers and technicians. If you’re passionate about drainage and road design and want to be part of exciting projects, this could be the perfect role for you.

In this position, you’ll work on a variety of projects, collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines to create detailed designs for highways, drainage, earthworks, and external works. You’ll also have the opportunity to lead on 3D design work, mentor junior team members, and make a real difference in your projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on a range of projects including housing, commercial, residential, and extra care developments.
• Use 3D design software to create innovative solutions and advance the team.
• Design and oversee civil engineering infrastructure such as highways, drainage, and earthworks.
• Ensure designs comply with UK standards and regulations.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

About You:

To succeed, you’ll need:

• At least 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autotrack, Microdrainage, PDS, and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of SuDS drainage systems and Flood Risk Assessments.
• Familiarity with Cut and Fill Earthworks and setting development levels commercially.
• Experience working with local authority highways agencies and NWL.
• A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and deadline management.
• An HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally, a CSCS card holder.
