About the Role

ARM is seeking a talented Civil Engineer/Technician to join our experienced team. If you are passionate about drainage and road design and eager to work on exciting projects, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will work on various projects, collaborating across disciplines to design highways, drainage, earthworks, and external works. The role offers the chance to lead 3D design efforts, mentor junior staff, and have a meaningful impact on project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects including housing, commercial, residential, and care developments.
• Create innovative 3D designs using appropriate software.
• Design and oversee civil infrastructure such as highways, drainage, and earthworks.
• Ensure compliance with UK standards and regulations.
• Support and mentor junior team members.

Candidate Profile

To be successful, you should have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autotrack, Microdrainage, PDS, and Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of SuDS drainage systems and Flood Risk Assessments.
• Experience with Cut and Fill Earthworks and setting development levels.
• Experience working with local authority highways agencies and NWL.
• A proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• An HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally, hold a CSCS card.
