Job summary

North Somerset Council is seeking a dedicated Civil Enforcement Officer to join our Parking Services team in Weston-super-Mare. You will patrol car parks and on-street areas to uphold parking rules and PSPOs, while representing the council in a professional and helpful manner.

The role requires a valid driving licence or alternative travel, a reliable communicator, and the ability to work a fixed rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Training and uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driving licence or be able to travel across the district.
• Willingness to work a fixed rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Council car parks and on-street areas covered by parking enforcement.
• Enforce PSPO offences, such as littering, dog fouling and smoking in play areas.
• Act as a Council ambassador, offering help and guidance to the public.
• Work on a fixed rota: 4 days on, 2 off, with evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
