Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Drainage Engineer in Rotherham to contribute to a growing portfolio of housing developments. You will design drainage strategies, surface water management, and adoptable highway layouts as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 3-5 years' experience in civil engineering, with strong knowledge of SuDS and housing projects, and a valid UK driving licence. A permanent, full-time position with competitive salary and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Proven experience in housing and residential development projects.
• Strong knowledge of drainage design, SuDS and surface water attenuation.
• Experience with highway layouts and adoptable infrastructure design.
• Understanding of relevant design standards, regulations, and approval processes.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
