The role focuses on technical design, drainage, and infrastructure projects, requiring AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency, strong communication, and collaborative skills to support client briefs and site visits.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in civil engineering design within a consultancy environment.
• Experience on residential civil engineering projects; education-sector projects desirable.
• Understanding of drainage, highways, and infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience desirable.
• Awareness of SuDS and surface water management principles.
• Ability to prepare technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
• Strong communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience attending client briefs and pre-contract visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Prepare calculations and hydraulic models with senior support.
• Inspect infrastructure and write follow-up technical reports.
• Draft documentation and project drawings for final issue.
• Attend meetings including pre-contract visits and client briefs.
