Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Southwark-based team, delivering development infrastructure for residential, education, healthcare, retail, and commercial sectors. You will work under senior and chartered engineers on highways, drainage, earthworks, and utilities for projects valued from £1m to £200m.

The role offers ICE Chartership support, structured training, and clear progression within a supportive, award-winning practice with over 30 years' experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
UK consultancy experience in development-related civil infrastructure design.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design of highways, drainage, earthworks, external levels and utilities.
Prepare calculations in line with British Standards and Eurocodes.
Produce drawings, reports and specifications for development projects.
Support senior/chartered engineers and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
