Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Civil Design Engineer in Hertfordshire to join a multidisciplinary team delivering infrastructure projects across the UK. You'll design highways and drainage, produce calculations and reports, and contribute to planning through construction.

You'll work with senior engineers, develop your technical knowledge and progress toward professional qualifications in a supportive environment with hybrid and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Ideally 2-5 years' experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Experience working on development infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with S278, S38, S104 and S106 agreements.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of UK civil engineering design standards.

Responsibilities

• Designing highways, drainage and infrastructure for development projects.
• Producing detailed drawings, calculations and reports.
• Assisting with Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports.
• Working on S278, S38, S104 and S106 infrastructure.
• Site levels, earthworks and drainage design.
• Developing designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
