Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Liverpool is seeking a Civil Engineer with 3+ years' experience to work on development infrastructure from planning through to construction. The role offers exposure to a range of schemes and a supportive team.

You will design highways and drainage, liaise with authorities and clients, and contribute to reports, drawings and engineering submissions for varied projects.

Civil Engineer

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £35,000 - £46,000

Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Civil Engineer - Liverpool

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Civil Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join a well-established civil engineering consultancy in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of development infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to schemes from initial planning through to detailed design and construction.

The Role

You will be involved in the design and delivery of highways, drainage and infrastructure projects across a variety of sectors, working closely with senior engineers, technicians and external stakeholders.

• Preparing drainage designs including S104, S106 and S185 agreements.
• Producing highways designs associated with S278 and S38 agreements.
• Supporting Flood Risk Assessments and development infrastructure designs.
• Undertaking detailed civil engineering design from planning through to construction stages.
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and project teams throughout project delivery.
• Assisting with technical reports, drawings and engineering submissions.

What We're Looking For

Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment and possess experience in development infrastructure design.

You should have experience using:

• AutoCAD
• XP Site3D
• Vehicle Tracking software
• MicroDrainage (or equivalent drainage software)
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience producing drainage and highways designs for residential and commercial developments would be highly beneficial.
