EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In this role, you'll design solutions or manage consultants for waste network projects, including gravity pipes and tanks, combined sewer overflows, pumping stations, rising mains, and SuDS. During project initiation, you'll collect data, assess innovative options, and evaluate their cost benefits to meet wastewater catchment needs.
As projects progress, you'll handle design calculations, hydraulic modeling, CAD drawings, ensure compliance with standards, and prepare design packs for tendering—while supporting our goals for health & safety, ecology, net-zero carbon, and biodiversity.
You'll generate solutions to meet future environmental and customer needs, taking projects from inception through option development, detailed design, and construction support.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
You should have engineering design experience, be a proactive problem solver, capable of meeting challenging deadlines, and flexible enough to support the team. Strong communication skills for engaging stakeholders and building relationships are essential.
Experience in civil or hydraulic design is vital; a background in the water industry is a plus but not essential.
We value character, positivity, and a caring attitude—people who show up ready to contribute and go above and beyond. We celebrate diversity and inclusion through our various employee networks and initiatives.
