Job summary

Strata Consulting is seeking a Civil Design Engineer (Drainage) in Cambridge to work on residential and commercial drainage projects. You will design adoptable infrastructure and contribute to multi-disciplinary outcomes.

The role requires proficiency in SUDS and drainage design, with hands-on experience using MicroDrainage or similar software, and a minimum of 3 years in UK consultancy drainage/highways design.

• Experience with MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow or Infodrainage or Civils 3D.
• Minimum 3+ years of drainage or highways design within a UK engineering consultancy.

Position: Civil Design Engineer (Drainage)

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35,000–£48,000 (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on residential and commerical type projects from small to large in scope.
• Designing infrastructure primarily for residential projects, with additional work in commercial, education, and industrial sectors.
• Creating underground drainage systems and roads designed to adoptable standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficiency in SUDS, Infrastructure Drainage design
• MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow or Infodrainage or Civils 3D.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in drainage or highways design within a UK engineering consultancy.
