Civil Design Engineer
Bath

Calibre Search is collaborating with a growing Engineering Consultancy based in Bath, with offices in Ireland and the UK. The company employs around 40 technical Engineers and Technicians and serves a diverse client base across sectors such as logistics, industrial, residential, retail, and commercial, including Automated Distribution Centres for major companies.

Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a Civil Design Engineer with 3-5 years of UK industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and review civil engineering drawings and reports.
2. Apply knowledge of drainage (including SuDS) and flood risk management.
3. Utilize modelling and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Site 3D, Micro Drainage, Causeway Flow).
4. Collaborate with Technicians to develop drawings and project deliverables.
5. Conduct site visits and surveys, initially supported by Senior Engineers.
6. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
7. Assist in project management tasks.

Candidate Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant UK industry experience.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English.
• Experience in developing designs from concept to detailed construction phases.
