Job summary

Marshalls plc in Elland, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join our Design & Engineering team. Hybrid working with a minimum of two days in the office.

You will provide CAD design and technical support for our water management products, producing drawings, calculations and BOMs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in civil engineering.
• Experience in design/technical environment (consultancy, D&B contractor, or a building products design & manufacture business).
• Proficient in industry design standards and codes.
• Experience in material take-offs and BOMs.
• Detailing of precast concrete products and structures is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD design and technical support for Marshalls Civils & Drainage products, focusing on water management solutions.
• Produce CAD drawings, calculations, bills of materials and provide engineering support to a high standard.
• Ensure compliance with Marshalls and wider industry processes and standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
• Support development of precast concrete products and related structures.
