Job Title: Civil Engineering CAD Technician

Location: Birmingham, UK

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £20,000 - £30,000 per year (Negotiable, depending on experience)

Are you a Civil Engineering CAD Technician seeking a progressive career opportunity that offers growth and development while working on innovative infrastructure projects? Due to a strong and ongoing workload in the Civil Infrastructure Engineering Team, our client requires an Infrastructure CAD Technician for their Birmingham office.

Duties:

1. Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications.
2. Preparing drawings for s38, s104, and s278 applications.
3. Creating engineering base plans for the detailed design of residential sites.
4. Liaising professionally with clients when necessary.

Experience:

Essentially, applicants will have:

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Previous experience in civil engineering.
• Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing projects.
• Proven ability to work well within teams and take accountability for own work.
• Professional communication skills with clients.
• Excellent presentation skills and drawing setup.
• Experience in roads and drainage within the residential sector.
