Job Description:

A civil and structural practice with multiple offices UK wide, heavily involved in the maritime sector, is seeking a Civil and Structural Maritime Engineer due to recent project wins.

The firm works on projects across the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate will have design experience related to maritime structures such as ports, harbours, jetties, and quay walls.

The successful candidate should have a good understanding of civil and structural design, be degree qualified, and ideally have at least 5 years of experience as a maritime engineer.

Applicants without direct maritime experience but with solid heavy civil design experience (e.g., bridges, tunnels, temporary works, underground structures) will also be considered.

The role involves designing maritime infrastructure both offshore and onshore.

The client encourages candidates to demonstrate progress towards Chartership, if not already achieved.

The position offers a base salary of approximately £45,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, along with a generous benefits package. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
