Job summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to service and repair heating systems across its estate buildings in Liverpool. You will undertake planned preventative maintenance and day-to-day repairs in line with designs, specifications, and safety standards.

A recognised apprenticeship or City & Guilds/NVQ in Gas Services Installation, plus CCN1 or COCN1 ACS certification and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or training qualification in Gas Services Installation.
• ACS CCN1/COCN1 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair heating systems across Liverpool City Council estates.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance and responsive work.
• Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and regulations.

Education

Gas Services Installation qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)

ACS qualification CCN1 or COCN1 (Domestic/Commercial Core Gas Safety)
