Birmingham City Council is seeking a Trainee Estate Caretaker to join the Central Estates Department. Working citywide in communal areas of low-rise blocks, you will perform caretaking, cleaning, environmental maintenance, and customer service tasks.

You will learn health and safety, COSHH and infection prevention, liaise with contractors and neighbours, and respond calmly to issues while developing skills through training and apprenticeships.

Competenze

• Great listener and communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Customer service experience in housing context is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Caretaking, cleaning, environmental maintenance, and removal of fly-tipping, refuse and graffiti.
• Kerb appeal work and health and safety compliance.
• Paint and maintain communal areas and assist with housing related queries.
