Job summary

Data Careers is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a specialist infrastructure team supporting a large UK public sector network. The role is based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, with travel across the region and a 12-month contract.

You will work hands-on across Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst switching, ASA/Firepower and Check Point firewalls, delivering operational support and project work to ensure network availability and security.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• At least three years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, ASA/Firepower and Check Point firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support and project delivery for a complex network environment.
• Maintain connectivity across data centres, on-premises and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with network devices and configurations.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure delivery.
