About the job you're considering

Are you ready to take your VoIP and Unified Communications expertise to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Cisco Lead Engineer to join our growing team! You’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing cutting-edge communication platforms that keep our teams connected and productive.

This is an on-site role based in Stevenage, 5 days a week. If you are successfully offered this position, you will undergo pre-employment checks, including verification of immigration status, employment history over the past 3 years, and a criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role
  1. Resolve Level 2 and 3 Telephony / Videoconferencing Incidents
  2. Respond to specific hardware or application requests
  3. Participate in Telephony / Videoconferencing Projects
  4. Assist operations teams on an ad hoc basis
  5. Ensure the management and maintenance of Telephony and Videoconferencing infrastructure
  6. Manage local team and share skills

Skills and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx), Webex, and Cisco video conferencing (endpoints, TMS, Pexip)
  • Knowledge of VMware Suite and vSan Storage
  • Familiarity with Kurmi, Telsica, PeterConnects ecosystems
  • Good understanding of SIP/H323 protocols, WAN/LAN, security, system administration, and PC environments (plus)
Security clearance

To be appointed, you must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance, which requires residing in the UK for the last 5 years and meeting other criteria. Some roles are restricted to UK nationals for security reasons.
