Job summary

Christ Church Brixton Road is seeking an experienced Operations Director or Project Manager to lead the day-to-day running of church operations, including HR, facilities and finance functions. The role will work with senior leaders and PCC to deliver strategic initiatives and growth across our bilingual parish community.

The successful candidate will oversee compliance, procurement and lease management while coordinating fundraising efforts and financial planning to support the church’s mission

Qualifications

• Experience leading church or nonprofit operations.
• Proven track record in HR and facilities management.
• Ability to work with senior leaders and parish council.
• Attention to health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR functions to align with church vision and manage parish staff.
• Oversee facilities at St Matthew’s and Christ Church, including procurement and leases.
• Participate in Finance Committee and coordinate with Treasurer on finance and fundraising.
• Ensure compliance by implementing procedures and policies in line with statutory requirements.
