Job summary

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Pain Clinic in Bath. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) runs Monday to Friday within a supportive outpatient service caring for adults with chronic pain.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, deliver nurse‑led clinics and contribute to the Pain Management Programme, emphasising patient safety, holistic care and self‑management support.

Qualifications

• Post registration experience in nursing (2+ years) required.
• Clinical knowledge and core nursing skills essential.
• Knowledge of chronic pain management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualised care to pain clinic patients.
• Support day‑case list, theatre and recovery areas for safety.
• Run nurse‑led treatment clinics and respond to patient queries.
• Contribute to Pain Management Programme and MDT care.
