Job summary

Apricot in Cheltenham is seeking a Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor to join our retail team for the festive period. The role is part time with 12 hours across Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, starting in November, at a rate of £11.60–£12.96 per hour.

You’ll help customers find pieces, share product knowledge and maintain an inviting store environment while supporting deliveries, stock replenishment and store operations.

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor to join our retail team for the festive season.

As a Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year. You’ll help customers find the perfect pieces, share your product knowledge and create a welcoming environment that makes every customer feel valued.

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative store team, helping to keep the store looking its best while contributing to our sales and overall store performance.

Please note: This role requires availability throughout the Christmas period and may not be suitable for those returning home for the university holidays.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing a friendly and welcoming experience to every customer

• Helping customers find products that suit their individual needs and style

• Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge

• Supporting the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance

• Taking ownership of your responsibilities and completing tasks to a high standard

• Keeping the shop floor well presented and maintaining our brand standards

• Supporting with deliveries, replenishment, stock takes and other store operations

• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the store, including the stockroom and back-of-house areas

• Following all company policies and operational procedures, including health and safety requirements

• Taking part in training and development opportunities to build your knowledge and skills

• Working collaboratively with your colleagues and supporting the wider store team
