Job summary

The Perfume Shop is seeking a friendly Christmas Sales Assistant to welcome customers, help them choose gifts and enjoy our festive offers. No perfume experience required; training will be provided to support you throughout the season.

You'll work varied shifts across evenings and weekends, with a Christmas commission scheme, 20% staff discount and wellbeing support to help you succeed in a busy, friendly store during peak trading.

Job description

We're looking for friendly, customer-focused people to join our team as a Christmas Sales Assistant. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and creating memorable experiences. You don't need previous retail or perfume experience to apply. If you enjoy helping people and are keen to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed. Whether you're looking for your first role in retail, returning to work, or looking to gain experience over the festive season, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay Rate: £8.15-£12.85

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every customer and create a positive shopping experience.
• Recommend products and help customers find the perfect gift.
• Promote our loyalty programme and help customers make the most of exclusive offers and savings.
• Create beautifully wrapped gifts, including gift wrapping and engraving services where available.
• Process payments and transactions accurately.
• Help keep the store looking its best by maintaining high standards of presentation and availability.
• Support your colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience during our busiest time of year.

Working Pattern:

Our Christmas roles include a variety of shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends. We'll discuss your availability with you during the recruitment process and do our best to match this with business needs.
