Job summary

The Perfume Shop in Newtownabbey is seeking a friendly Christmas Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role designed for the festive season and offers training and support to help you succeed.

No previous retail or perfume experience is required, and you’ll help customers find gifts, wrap presents, process payments, and promote our loyalty programme. Flexible shifts during busy periods are available.

Job description

We're looking for friendly, customer-focused people to join our team as a Christmas Sales Assistant.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and creating memorable experiences.

You don't need previous retail or perfume experience to apply. If you enjoy helping people and are keen to learn, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Pay Rate: £8.15 - £12.85

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every customer and create a positive shopping experience.


• Recommend products and help customers find the perfect gift.


• Promote our loyalty programme and help customers make the most of exclusive offers and savings.


• Create beautifully wrapped gifts, including gift wrapping and engraving services where available.


• Process payments and transactions accurately.


• Help keep the store looking its best by maintaining high standards of presentation and availability.


• Support your colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience during our busiest time of year.

Working Pattern

Our Christmas roles include a variety of shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends. We'll discuss your availability with you during the recruitment process and do our best to match this with business needs.
