Haven invites you to join our Chip Shop team as a Cooks Fish and Chip Shop Team Member in Prestatyn. You will prepare and serve our classic fish, chips, and menu items, delivering a warm, friendly guest experience while upholding high food preparation and cleanliness standards.

This role offers flexible hours including weekends and holidays, with pay up to £12.71 per hour depending on age. Full training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow with Haven.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred.

We're seeking a friendly and motivated Chip Shop Team Member to join our team. You’ll prepare and serve high-quality fish, chips, and other menu items, providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests and owners, while maintaining high standards in food preparation and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, fry, and package fish, chips, and other items following quality standards and recipes.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Greet our guests warmly, take orders efficiently, and ensure they have a great experience.
• Work closely with other team members to keep service smooth and efficient, especially during busy periods.

Requirements

• Applicants must be 18+ due to health and safety regulations for operating hot kitchen equipment.
• Experience in food service, hospitality settings or customer-facing roles is great—but full training will be provided.
• Approachable, motivated, and focusedand safety standards.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
