Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Chiller Engineer to service and maintain a range of air conditioning and chiller systems across the Reading area. You will work on VRVs, VRFs and splits, with experience on Water Chillers being highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will hold F-Gas Cat 1, an NVQ Level 2 in air conditioning and refrigeration, and preferably additional electrical qualifications. A full driving licence and a willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out servicing and repair on air conditioning and AHUs.
• Experience servicing Water Chiller units would be highly advantageous.
• based within commutable distance to Reading area.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain air conditioning systems including VRVs/VRFs and splits.
• Service Water Chiller units where applicable; work on AHUs as needed.
• Maintain sites such as data centres, healthcare sites and educational facilities.

Job description

Position: Chiller Engineer

Location: Reading

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000

Air Conditioning Engineer / Chiller Engineer required. Our client specializes in the service & maintenance of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & chiller units throughout the U.K, with multiple offices around the country. Our client is looking for an air conditioning engineer / chiller engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

The air conditioning engineer will be expected to service & maintain a variety of air conditioning systems such as VRV's, VRF's and splits etc. and would ideally have experience, carrying out servicing works on Water Chillers and air-cooled chillers. Sites will vary, including data centres, healthcare sites and educational sites.

The air conditioning engineer / chiller engineer must hold their F-Gas cat 1 as a minimum with an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in air conditioning and refrigeration. It would be highly advantageous for the engineer to hold some form of electrical qualifications.

Air Conditioning Engineer / Chiller Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience carrying out servicing and repair on air conditioning and AHU's

Air Conditioning Engineer / Chiller Engineer Remuneration

• Basic Salary of £45,000 to £50,000+ (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Company Vehicle provided - Optional personal use of Van.
• 25 days' holiday + Bank Holidays
• 40 hour working week - plus travel paid, after 30mins each way
• Overtime paid at additional rates - 1.5 & 2x
• On call rota 1 in 10 weeks.
