Carrier Rentals in the UK is seeking a Chiller Engineer to join the growing Rental team. You will prepare, install and commission temporary cooling solutions, ensuring safe operation and high customer satisfaction.

The role requires experience with industrial chillers, a refrigeration qualification and a valid UK driving licence, with a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in rental/HVAC/chiller or temporary plant environments.
• City & Guilds or equivalent Safe Handling/Refrigerants qualification.
• F Gas Cat 1 qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, install, commission, maintain and decommission temporary rental equipment (chillers, pumps, hoses, heat exchangers and ancillaries).
• Support delivery of rental projects from site attendance to equipment handover with safe, fit-for-purpose installations.
• Conduct site surveys and identify equipment needs with rental operations for correct solutions.
• Troubleshoot and support operational issues on rental equipment on-site and remotely to minimise downtime.
• Commission temporary systems and advise on site connections, flow, power, and controls.
• Attend customer sites and meetings with minimal supervision, providing updates on works, safety and next steps.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, flow schematics and method statements.
