Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Chill Warehouse Operative for our Larkhall coldstore, handling fresh fish and chilled goods. Shifts run 12:00-20:00 or 13:00-21:00, five days from seven, in a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and teamwork.

You will receive goods, pick orders, and manage stock using WMS, while safely operating PPTs and other equipment. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential, and we value reliable, confident team players.

Qualifications

• Candidates with warehouse experience, PPT operation, and WMS knowledge are preferred.
• Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
• Looking for a confident, vocal team player who thrives in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods in, pick orders, and prepare goods out.
• Use Warehouse Management System to manage stock.
• Operate power pallet trucks and other MHE safely.
• Liaise with colleagues to keep operations flowing.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in a chilled environment.
• Complete operational documents accurately and on time.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.
