Job summary

Culina Group in Tilbury is seeking a General Warehouse Operative for a 4-on/4-off days shift in our chilled distribution operation. You will operate forklifts in a temperature-controlled environment and help keep stock moving safely and accurately across a fully palletised warehouse.

The role requires reliability, safety awareness and team collaboration, with duties including picking, loading/unloading, scanning pallets and ensuring timely handovers with shift teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and order picking.
• Ability to operate forklift/reach trucks.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment (~3°C).
• Reliable, safety-conscious and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks in a palletised storage environment.
• Pick stock and orders from designated locations within the chilled warehouse.
• Load and unload wagons or containers per site procedures.
• Scan pallets and update locations accurately.
• Move, organise and handle goods to maintain quality.
• Support the smooth flow of stock and handovers with teams.
• Carry out equipment checks and report faults or safety concerns.
