Job summary

Fowler Welch in Evesham is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for our chilled distribution operation. This hands-on role involves picking stock, keeping stock moving safely and efficiently as part of a dependable team.

The role is in a 2–4°C environment with Tue–Sat nights 18:00–04:00. Salary £36,100 with overtime on extra shifts. Permanent, full-time position based in Evesham.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and quality.
• Knowledge of verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable team member.
• Overtime available during peak periods.
• PPT ride-on equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload product in line with company policies.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and manage VOR vehicles.
• Maintain accuracy in picking and assembling per instructions.
• Ensure loads are secured before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets.
• Follow health & safety procedures and HACCP regulations.
• Handle customer returns with stock controller notification.
