Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Chefs in Wrexham to join a professional, friendly team producing chilled meals for top UK supermarkets. The role features 4 on/4 off shifts, day and night options, and full-time hours with overtime opportunities. You will handle sauce production, ensure quality, and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications include City & Guilds/NVQ in Food & Drink. Experience in manufacturing or hospitality kitchens is desirable, with personal development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications - Food and Drink.
• Experience in manufacturing or hospitality kitchens is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake personal development initiatives to achieve personal and organisational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Produce sauces to the specification recorded on the cook sheet and complete all documentation to standard.
• Take responsibility for ingredients and raw materials; know all materials used in cooking processes.
• Attend sensory evaluation sessions and apply findings to cook sauces to correct specification.
• Supply high-risk assembly with correctly cooked sauce when required.
• Keep the work environment safe and clean in line with health and safety/hygiene legislation.
