Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is seeking a Residential Team Leader for our Children''s Residential - Complex Trauma Services. You will guide a team of support workers to meet the needs of children and young people, ensure Ofsted standards, and help create a safe, family-like environment in our homes.

This role involves planning rotas, supporting managers, supervising in their absence, driving to homes, and promoting a positive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ due to Ofsted regulations.
• At least six months' experience in children's residential care.
• Relevant Level 3 qualification is required.
• Driving is essential due to locations of the homes.

Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of the children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Plan team rotas and support the Deputy and home manager in meetings and appointments.
• Assist the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.
• Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager.
• Welcome a diverse culture in the home.
• Create a safe, family environment for the children.

Children's Residential - Complex Trauma Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person's support workers.

Essential Information

• 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
• Working on a rota basis - you will receive a monthly rota
• This is a 365 day a year job, including Christmas, new year and all the fun holidays but it is even more fun when you celebrate with the children!
• The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in

Job role

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
