We are seeking Children’s Residential Care Workers to join our residential services, aiming to create a stable and welcoming environment where our young people are central to everything we do.
As a Residential Care Worker, you will be emotionally strong, empathetic, and driven to make a difference daily. You will understand our children and their backgrounds, ensuring their needs are prioritized. Approachability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
You will help children learn independence and support them with your own life experiences, demonstrating empathy, compassion, resilience, and positive parenting skills.
The role involves a variety of tasks, including organizing activities, providing 1:1 support, and engaging with children aged 8-18 with behavioral and emotional needs.
We offer competitive pay (£11.92-£12.54 per hour plus sleep-in rates), training and development opportunities, holiday entitlement, health benefits, activity days, and career progression pathways.
Shift patterns are 16-24 hours, including sleep-ins, on a one-on-two or two-on-four basis.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality care, supporting education access, promoting healthy lifestyles, household duties, record keeping, organizing outings, and providing transport.
Requirements include a Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, therapeutic experience, educational support, leadership skills, and higher qualifications.
