Job summary

Harborough Mews Care Ltd is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our children’s residential home in Northampton. You will oversee day-to-day operations, drive safeguarding practices, and supervise a dedicated staff team to ensure safe, nurturing care for each child.

Ideal candidates will have extensive residential care experience, prior management roles, strong knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted rules, and be working towards Level 5 Leadership & Management qualifications for

Qualifications

• Significant experience in children’s residential care.
• Previous management or deputy management experience in a children's home.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements and Children’s Homes Regulations.
• Holds or is working towards Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for Residential Childcare.
• Confident leading, supervising and developing a residential care team.
• Strong safeguarding, risk-management and decision-making skills.
• Organised, resilient and able to provide calm and effective leadership.
• Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
• Ofsted Registered Manager experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Job description

Harborough Mews Care Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children s residential home in Northampton.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, child-focused leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure that children receive safe, nurturing and high-quality care.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Hours: 40 per week, with flexibility and on-call responsibilities
