We are a highly regarded provider of children's residential care, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Our four-bedded children's residential home caters to children up to the age of 18 with learning disabilities or autism. We pride ourselves on offering a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop.

Job Description:

As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations. Your duties will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of dedicated care professionals.
  • Ensuring the home provides a safe, nurturing environment for children.
  • Developing and implementing care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with families, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and staff development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing a children's residential home.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car.
  • Competitive salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • Permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week).
  • Supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development.
