Position: Residential Children's Home Manager

Location: Isle of Grain - Medway

Role: Permanent: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start: ASAP

Our client is seeking a dedicated registered manager to join their 3-bedroom children's home.

The Role: This is an exciting position focused on creating a nurturing environment where each individual receives personalized care and support. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the home, safeguarding and promoting high-quality, individualized care for the children and young people living there, ensuring consistency with organizational values and the home's statement of purpose.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience at a senior level within a Children's Home
  • Hold a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, with a demonstrated commitment to obtaining a NVQ or Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Residential Children's Services or equivalent
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the Ofsted Regulatory Framework for Children's Homes
  • A proven track record of providing a highly specialist, evidence-based service for autistic children and young people
  • Strong organization and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
