Job summary

CCH is recruiting in Leigh to support a five-year-old boy with complex medical needs. The role involves caring for him in a family home, where pets are present, and requires comfort around animals.

You will provide attentive care tailored to his needs, support his daily routines, and accompany him to school during weekday day shifts, following his care plan and procedures to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is essential.
• We’ll provide full training and support to help you understand his needs.
• Willing to learn and follow individual care plans and procedures.

Job Description

What you’ll do

You’ll support a happy, smiley five-year-old boy who lives with his family and has complex medical needs, including epilepsy and tonic-clonic seizures.

His home is busy and welcoming, with brothers, sisters and plenty of animals, including dogs, cats and rabbits. You’ll need to feel comfortable around pets and enjoy working in a lively family environment.

You’ll:

• Provide attentive care tailored to his individual needs and care plan.
• Support his daily routines, comfort and wellbeing.
• Help with his morning routine and accompany him to school during weekday day shifts.
• Follow agreed procedures to support his medical needs safely.

Qualifications
