Job summary

Service Care Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Safeguarding & Care Planning Team in Oldham.

This temporary 3-month contract offers the chance to contribute to safeguarding vulnerable children and to support families within a supportive local authority. You will manage a caseload on Child Protection Plans, prepare reports for court, and collaborate with schools, health professionals, and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Recent experience in Children's Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Care Planning.
• Strong assessment, report writing, and case management skills.
• Previous Local Authority experience desirable.

Responsibilities

This is a 3-month temporary contract with strong potential for extension, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive children's services team dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable children and improving outcomes for families.
