Job summary

Bay View Childcare in Capernwray, Carnforth, is seeking a motivated Children’s Team Leader to support up to four young people aged 8–18 with social, emotional and behavioural needs. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and contribute to day‑to‑day operations.

A full UK driving licence and a Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children & Young People are essential. The role offers competitive salary with sleep‑in payments, ongoing supervision, CPD and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Level 3 Diploma in Working with Children & Young People.
• Experience supporting up to four young people aged 8–18 with social, emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review and maintain high-quality care plans.
• Build positive relationships with young people and engage them in development activities.
• Support daily operations and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
• Assist with budgeting, rota management and household planning.
• Lead team meetings and promote open communication among staff.
